i always thought google would buy yahoo. and i am sure they would have if if the competition(msn, aol, and others) would have been more successful. as it stands it would be a major antitrust issue.
so does google buy aol next? it would make sense considering the physical switching infrastructure that aol has remaining from its dialup ISP days that could be put to use for google grandcentral and possibly a future wireless operation.
on the other hand google may be more interested in the 'new york times' and other traditional media advertising avenues.
